Le Mars Communications is a partnership between the City of Le Mars, North West REC and Long Lines, LLC. We are committed to establishing a state of the art telecommunications system that you will be proud to use.

North West REC (NWREC) is a rural electric cooperative that provides electric service to 8,500 electric customers in rural Plymouth, Sioux, O'Brien and Ida counties. NWREC is has offices in Le Mars, Orange City and Ida Grove. NWREC has been involved in telecommunications since 1994 when it began providing service. In 1996 NWREC began providing dial-up Internet services and currently provides Internet service to over 1,400 customers in 12 communities.

Long Lines, LLC brings 60 years of telephone expertise to the Le Mars Communications Partnership. LLL has extensive operations in switching, fiber connectivity, data transmission and customer service. It is a locally owned company built by quality people utilizing the latest in technology. This combination is the key ingredient in delivering the best communications product to your door.
